Good grief. Is it the weather? I've started decluttering too, but figure VHS tapes are the easiest to purge first. My precious books, not so much. Magazines, the same. Heck, I was going through one box and found a National Enquirer with John Barrowman (Torchwood) dating Cher. What a hoot! Sometimes there are gems, and I finally found my "YOu can survive a nuclear blast" pamphlet my parents were given by the welcome wagon back in the 50s.

I'll have to check out that book you mentioned.
