With the Defenders generating a ton of buzz, I decided to try the Marvel series on Netflix. Started with Daredevil which I have unexpectedly fallen in love with. Now I want all the avocados-at-law, hetero-life-partners, Matt/Happiness fics the Internet can provide. *grabbyhands*

I liked Daredevil in the beginning, but it became much too bloody for me. Luke Cage was generally too bloody. I was happy to watch defenders and see Jessica back. Love Jessica.

Ah, that's too bad. It has just the right level of grit for me without being too bloody (plus lawyer-hero!). Haven't seen Luke Cage yet, but I'm halfway through Jessica Jones, who is great, but her so is a bit squicky (with the torture and all...).

I watched all of Defenders last weekend. I really like it.

One mental consequence of having children is I can't separate from blood and gore in TV or film. It used to not phase me, but it makes me sick now. Angela and Jim tune it out like I used to.
