I've actually stopped looking at clips now because I've reached the saturation point of spoilers -- like, I want to still have surprises left -- but wahhhh Bruuuuuutus! Between this stuff, and Bruno Gunn talking about how he created a backstory for him that allowed him to put "moments of vulnerability" into his performance, I really don't know how I'm going to survive.

Ditto! I managed to stay away from the sites for a couple of weeks, but I kinda got blindsided by a story idea last night, and that usually winds up with me cruising Mockingjay.net for 'inspiration' or to 'fact check'. And then, oops, there went that hour and a half... I'm glad one of us has actual willpower.

I've put the Catching-fire-era part of the AU on hold (I have the basics of my Arena headcanon down already) so I can see what I want to take away from the movie vs ignore. My 74th headcanon is a mixture of the two, so that's what I'm going to do here, too.

Right now it's easier because I'm fully caught up in THOR THOR THOOOOOOOOOOOOR. All my friends are seeing it but it doesn't hit Japan until February, and so I'm scouring for crappy cam versions ...

WOW. Why, Paramount, why?!? I understand staggering release by a few weeks, but more two months? That's pretty much asking for piracy.

It's not so bad -- I waited 6 months for Hunger Games. It had already come out on DVD before Japan got it in theatres. Avengers, too.

Catching Fire is only 1 month off, at least.

(but uh yeah I am downloading a crappy cam version RIGHT NOW, I'm going to see it when I visit New York in December and then again when it hits Japan so do I feel bad, no)
