However, the description of the rough pilot Rob Thomas put together of his proposed fast-forward fourth season doesn't sound terribly promising to me. What's Veronica Mars without Dad or Logan or Wallace or Mac? And the plot sounds very much like a standard crime procedural of the type already littering the broadcast schedule. Perhaps it's better VM was allowed to walk off into the DVD sunset with as much dignity as she could muster after losing a popularity contest to a bunch of vapid whores. It really is like she's back in high school.
