It didn't feel like that was the message to me or my Hubby but again I can see where you could see it that way. I think this is a scene that can be interpreted a multitude of ways. I do feel that since they had Andy take such a strong stance at the end that it didn't occur to them that it could be interpreted that way.
Never saw Revenge of the Nerds or any of the Nerds movies so wouldn't be able to comment on them ;-)
