My attempts to put myself in the mind of the butch were (unintentionally) hilarious--the line between 'fouling really hard' and 'putting Lyme in the hospital' was difficult to find. And I wanted to dial it back but Brutus and Lyme were all 'we can take it, write harder, wuss.'
