Reviewing the files on my laptop, I came across a random folder labed 'fic', which contained a number of Supernatural stories. I paused for a few moments because my laptop is very new, so I generally know exactly what's on it. I definitely knew I had not gone out to download any Supernatural fic (I'd only just finished the zines I bought at MWC). Was this a visit from the fic fairy?
Eventually I remembered the flash drive the Supernatural pushers were passing around at MW. The fic must have been on the drive. Dang! And I was going to go looking for the Great Pumpkin next.

Date: 2006-08-02 01:23 am (UTC)I think I've rewatched the whole series about 5 times already and some episodes 7 or 8 times. I almost the series from England cause I'm to impatient to wait for the Region 1 DVDs to come out but reason did reassert itself ;-)
And the fanfic is YUMMY! Yes we have H/C and angst and loads of it!
So what have you read and what do you recommend?

Date: 2006-08-03 02:05 am (UTC)There are so many to recommend in this fandom and I've got like hundreds saved to my hard drive but if you haven't read them you might want to look at:
The 1300 Days a pre-series Dean-centric fic which can be found here:
http://stele3.livejournal.com/
Never Summer by Ignipes :

There is also lots of fics by Sodakey, PL Winter and Ridley James, Phx, reading and others on FFnet that are very good.
I'd love more recs :-)
