The Siren Song of the Buddy Show

Supernatural seemed to be the new hot fandom at MW*C26. Metallicar shirts everywhere, two new anthology zines (as well as two stories in Yum@'s sold out multimedia zine "The Brotherhood"), multiple panels. Brate, KHanna, JJJunky, and Yum@ were pimping it so hard I was sure they'd either make converts or get a visit from some cult deprogrammers.

Though I've been enjoying the show, I thought I was immune to the fandom appeal...

until last night, when a dialogue exchange popped into my mind.
