Economic Engine

This year, I've been very good about keeping track of all of my financial dealings with Microsoft Money. It's nifty: as I enter an expense, I assign a category, and then can see how much I spent on gas v. groceries. I've even got a separate category for zines.

I just ran my 6 month report.

I did not spend that much on zines. No way.

*breaks out calculator to check Microsoft's math*

*examines each transaction on the {long, long} list*

...

It just can't be that much.
