I had a lot of driving to do this weekend, so I downloaded the gen podcasts from
spnfic_podcast.
I am now officially In Love with having fic read to me.
Record, my minions; record.

I agree...fic podcasts are great
Date: 2006-09-12 10:35 pm (UTC)I went for a long walk on Sunday and listened to the spnfic_podcast for the first time too. I was worried that having fic read in my ear would be sort of weird, but actually the gen fic episode of the podcast was a lot of fun. Not unlike books on tape. I think they said they're working their way through some of the Lawrence Award winners, which is especially cool as I think that will give a good sampling of fic. I also really enjoyed the author interview. I hope they do more of those.
And I found myself wishing someone had done a podcast of all of these good SN meta's out there as well. Can you imagine having those to think about while commuting? It would be like SN Radio. So tempting to urge someone to start something here. (Having wicked thoughts.) Like a trading post of SN Meta's or something.

I was wondering what the quality would be like, but it was actually quite good (and I was amused by the fact that there was just about every accent of english represented in the programs). I also really enjoyed the interview and also would like to hear more of those.

That would be *awesome*. Kind of like the Mugglenet podcast or the old Buffy radio show! Hmmm....
