A wicked thunderstorm started just about half-way through the Supernatural finale
I got as far as Zachariah telling Dean something like "God is dead. Didn't you know?" Then cut to Lilith then, wham-crap-nothing until Sam holds Ruby while Dean kills her.
Yeah.
So, the angelshave the phone box just wanted Dean to fight Lucifer. Why not... wait for Sam to release Lucifer before you bring Dean back from Hell?
I'm pretty sure I missed some crucial stuff in between, but it seems like the upshot was "Hey, angels and demons are morally equivalent. That whole fighting evil theme? Red herring. Aren't I clever?"
Thanks for wasting my time, Kripke.

We're getting an economic rebate back...can we get one for the show(s) we watch? A few shows are making me gnash my teeth. LOL

Date: 2009-05-15 03:07 am (UTC)I'm disappointed. I have been dreading just this since the whole idea of angels in SPN was introduced (and especially since Anna rolled out onto the scene). I had thought I dodged a bullet when the whole Uriel thing got revealed, but nope. So, all that stuff, in Faith and Houses of the Holy, that meant nothing. The entire concept of evil means nothing. *sigh*
