My name is Penfold. I took a nap and woke up in 1995. Am I mad? In a coma? Or just suffering from a high speed internet outage? All I know is a I have to fight to get back to where I can get the weather without resorting to turning on the TV.

I was verging on distraught yesterday; not only couldn't I send out a Sunday Sherlock, but inviting someone to visit me without high speed wireless Internet feels like the 21st century equivalent of asking someone to stay at a home without indoor plumbing. From there, the Life on Mars jokes wrote themselves.

Fortunately, it's back up and running!

Thanks! It's all sorted now, though it has given me a nice reminder how thankful I should be for continuous, wireless, high speed internet. The dial-up days, how did we ever manage?!
